The Malaysian Sake Sommelier of the Year competition was the first time the event took place in Asia and was the first competition of it’s type in Malaysia. The event was hosted by Sake Educator Danny Leong and The Sake Place. After the challenges and judging, the event moved to the Residence of the Japanese Ambassador for the awards ceremoney. The event was a great success and a huge achievement for the sake industry in Malaysia!
